We met with tech entrepreneur, Jens Buch who, together with the restaurant owner, Clovis Degrave created Cartes Blanches, a new culinary experience. Inspired by a proven concept in Denmark, the project allows booking outstanding restaurants to cook in your home or business.

Our business model not only forces us to have a high conversion rate from leads to orders, it also forces us to have a high number of orders. As a result, it was important for us to use a high performance CRM tool from day 1.

Data integrity is key. If we put inaccurate data into the system, the reports will not be accurate either. In a company where data driven decisions are made, this can be fatal. Furthermore, all staff needs to buy into this. We have been using Salesforce from day 1 – so it is in our DNA.

Internal we need staff that feeds accurate data into the system. Together with external experts, we setup processes that enforces this. Everything we think that needs improvement and/or optimisation, we note and then discuss with the consultants when we think the time is right.

It scales, many business developers and sales staff know the tool from other employers and finally, salesforce integrates with other tools like marketing automation tools and accounting tools.
