CRM Capabilities

The platform has many standard product modules, called clouds, which can be combined in a flexible manner, covering a very broad functional range, among which Sales, Service, Marketing & Communities. These products are extremely well integrated with each other, except for Marketing Cloud, all Clouds are running on a common platform, the Lightning platform.

Should the scenario arise where Salesforce’s own solutions would not be sufficient to provide a functionality, there is a huge ecosystem of third-party applications and their ISVs, called AppExchange, which can be leveraged to extend Lightning platform’s functionalities.
